Metadata Service

Work in progress to fill out metadata for FDRI sites and datasets.

New structural designs decided for linking AMS metadata to the metadata service model. A great step towards seemless integration!

UI

Work has started applying FRDI theming to the timeseries explorer and spatial UIs.

Flux

The work on getting the pipeline deployed to AWS has continued, albeit somewhat interrupted by the NCDR Science Area Meeting. We have unfortunately found that the telemetry system isn’t as robust as we might have hoped: querying the logger’s HTTP API often returns empty files with no data in, so it looks like we’ll have to rework it to use the FTP interface instead. See the below graph via Jo W, showing the data fetched over HTTP in blue and the missing data (filled in by manual download) in purple:

Geospatial API and UI

PostGIS has been deployed in AWS for the geospatial API. No data has been uploaded yet, but the new UI design is now available in production (https://dri-ui.dri.ceh.ac.uk/fdri/spatial)
