Period.pl_interval

property Period.pl_interval: str

A string that captures the step and multiplier of this period and which is suitable for use with Polars.

The returned string is defined using the Polars duration string language, and can be used in Polars methods such as :

polars.DataFrame.group_by_dynamic(…, every=period.pl_interval, …)

polars.datetime_ranges(…, interval=period.pl_interval, …)

Returns:

A string suitable for use with Polars methods
