Reconstructs the example seamask raster distributed with the package. The function creates a raster from the stored metadata, populates it with the example seamask values, and assigns the layer name "seamask_3035".

Usage

get_example_seamask()

Value

A RasterLayer object containing the example seamask data.

Details

The example seamask is stored internally as a list containing:

  • metadata: raster dimensions, extent and coordinate reference system.

  • matrix: raster cell values.

The raster is reconstructed using raster_from_metadata() and then populated with the stored values.

seamask <- get_example_seamask()
